2. Visiting the website

When you visit, the technical infrastructure processes your IP address, time of access, requested address, browser information and response status. This enables delivery, troubleshooting and protection against abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, functioning website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

The website is hosted by Railway Corporation (USA) in a European data centre region. Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) provides DNS services and processes connection data for delivery and security where traffic passes through Cloudflare. Access from third countries, for example for maintenance and support, is not excluded.

3. Contact and security reports

When you contact us, we process your sender and contact details, message content, any attachments you choose to provide and information needed to handle the enquiry. Security reports are documented with a reference, assessment, actions and outcome. Christian Prasser and Paul Schmidt have access as required for their duties, along with necessary service providers.

Our email mailboxes are hosted by IONOS SE (Germany). For necessary security and support messages, Resend, a service of Plus Five Five, Inc. (USA), may process the recipient address and necessary message content. Do not send confidential customer data or credentials in your initial message.

Contract-related and pre-contractual enquiries are processed under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Other enquiries and security reports are based on our legitimate interest in handling requests and protecting people, data and systems under Article 6(1)(f). Article 6(1)(c) applies where legal documentation or notification duties exist.

4. Cookies, display preferences and statistics

This information website uses no visitor analytics cookies, advertising trackers or session recordings. Fonts and graphics are served from our website. If you explicitly switch between light and dark mode, we save that choice under “publisherboost-public-theme” in session storage for the browser session. Without a selection, the display follows your system preference.

When you select a language using DE or EN, we save that choice in the “publisherboost-public-language” session cookie. It contains only “de” or “en” and keeps your chosen language when you reload or navigate between pages. No language cookie is set without a selection. The cookie is intended for the browser session and is not used for visitor analytics.

Storage access for the display and language preferences you explicitly request is based on section 25(2)(2) TDDDG. We do not create a personal click history. Technical operational metrics such as request counts and error rates support secure operation under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

5. Recipients and international transfers

The providers listed above process data as needed for hosting, security and communication. Railway, Cloudflare and Resend may process data in the USA or other third countries. Under their data processing terms, such transfers rely in particular on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses under Article 46(2)(c) GDPR. A European server region does not mean processing takes place exclusively in Europe. Contact us for details of the applicable safeguards and a copy or means of obtaining them.

6. Retention

We retain data only for as long as needed for its purpose. Technical logs support troubleshooting and security analysis. For a specific incident, necessary extracts may be retained separately until the investigation is complete and, where necessary, for legal claims. Contact and security records are deleted after closure once no longer needed for follow-up, evidence or legal obligations. The need for continued retention is reviewed; legally required records remain restricted to that purpose.

7. Your rights

Subject to the legal conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may withdraw consent at any time for the future. Where processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation.

Contact contact@publisherboost.net. We generally respond within one month and will inform you promptly of any extension permitted by law. You may also complain to a data protection authority, particularly in your place of residence, work or the alleged infringement. The authority for our registered office is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
